That means that you can be assured of the best possible care whenever you need medical imaging services, quality diagnostics and accurate, effective treatment. Doctors, specialists, chiropractors, physiotherapists, podiatrists and dentists rely on our team of highly qualified radiographers and sonographers, and our top-of-the-range medical imaging technology to provide fast, accurate scans to their valued patients.

    CT Scans

Computed Tomography is an x-ray technique that creates cross-sectional images of your body. It gives your doctor an inside look of your body. Used for various body parts, the CT scan is used to identify cysts, infections, or tumors in the chest as well as the organs.

    3T MRI

When your doctor calls for a Magnetic Resonance Imaging scan, it could involve any part of the body, often the head and spine. The detailed images provided by the magnet and radio waves are used to diagnose a multitude of injuries, illnesses and disorders.

    Ultrasound

Your doctor may call for an ultrasound to examine your organs. This medical test, also known as sonography, uses high-frequency sound waves to capture live images of your organs from inside your body.

    Digital X-ray

When you need an x-ray, your doctor will let us know which body part needs to be imaged. We will use a low dose radiation imaging technique to obtain images for your doctor to use in developing a treatment plan.

Pregnancy Ultrasound Including Nuchal Translucency Scans

nuchal translucency scan is part of the ultrasound scan that most pregnant women have at around 12 weeks of pregnancy. This scan, this will measure the size of the nuchal fold at the back of your baby’s neck.

    Bone Mineral Densitometry

QCT BMD measures bone loss in the lower spine and hips and is generally used to diagnose osteoporosis or assess an individual’s risk for sustaining fractures.

    Mammography

A mammogram uses a low dose X-ray imaging technique for examining your breasts. It is also used to diagnose, evaluate and follow women through breast cancer. While a mammogram can’t prevent breast cancer, it can assist in early detection, which saves lives. We provide Breast Tomosythesis at our Narellan practice.

    OPG or Ceph

OPG provides a wide view x-ray of your jaws and all your teeth. This gives your dentist or orthodontist a clear indication of the positions of all your teeth and their growth. It includes teeth that have yet to erupt or surface. Additionally, the OPG can reveal issues with the jawbone and temporomandibular joint.

    Sports Injury

Injured on the sports field? Stress fractures are often hard to detect through standard x-rays, but we offer a range of scanning services to ensure correct diagnosis of any sport injuries. Correct diagnosis and proper treatment will get you back to your team as soon as possible.
