Xplore pays tribute to Radiographers and Sonographers

Xplore Radiology has recently celebrated the hard work of both sonographers and radiographers on Australasian Sonographers Day (27 October) and World Radiography Day (8 November).  These occasions are an opportunity to acknowledge the highly skilled, dedicated professionals who are integral to Xplore’s success as a leading provider of imaging services in Australia.

Sonographers play a vital role in the healthcare sector as experts in ultrasound, so it was fitting that we celebrated them on Australasian Sonographers Day. This special day was introduced by the Australasian Sonographers Association in 2018 to recognise their important contribution to the community.

World Radiography Day marks Wilhelm Roentgen’s discovery of x-radiation back in 1895 and serves to highlight just how far imaging technology has come since then, while also raising awareness about radiography.

At Xplore Radiology, we understand how essential sonographers and radiographers are to the delivery of quality care and accuracy of diagnosis, which is why they are at the heart of our practice. To show our appreciation, we paid tribute to our sonographers and radiographers across our 5 sites in Leeton, Narellan, Griffith, Leppington, and Camden. 

We recognise the contribution our experienced and qualified staff bring to their communities and are proud to demonstrate how much their hard work is valued by us here at Xplore Radiology – without them, none of this would be possible.
